Schedule: Social starts at 5 p.m. Dinner at 7 p.m.
RSVP by May 7, 2021 to Todd Benz at email@example.com. Include names of attendees.
Family and friends welcomed to join. Great door prizes. This is usually the first event of the season to get your Porsche out of storage and drive to an event.
Hosts are Todd and Sheila Benz.
Hopefully everyone has gotten your cars out of hibernation and attended the Fox Valley Region’s Spring Opener in time for this event.
We’re going to start the 2021 driving season with a short drive around the area; about 2 hours.
We’ll begin the drive in De Pere just off 41, and end just a bit north of 41 in Appleton. Generally, we’ll be heading up towards Shawano passing by Seymour, back down through Shiocton, before ending in Appleton.
No doubt most of us are hopeful that the COVID related precautions are able to unwind as the year unfolds, however since we can’t predict the future, we will remain cautious. For that reason we are keeping the drive short and have not planned any stops along the way, unless of course we need to.
We’ll end the drive at Todd’s home. However, you and your guest are welcome to park and setup some chairs in the yard and have a picnic with whatever you wish to bring with you. There is plenty of yard space for a fair number of cars to spread out. Bottled water will be provided.
Todd will open up his garage in case anyone is interested in seeing what project cars he has in works, as well as see those that are road worthy at the time of this drive
That being said, to make this all work and keep safe, we are going to have to limit the total number of people/cars.
Note, a Porsche is not required nor is PCA membership, however this is a Fox Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America event and will follow PCA guidelines.
So please, RSVP Todd Whitenack by May 12, 2021 if you plan to join us on the drive, and/or plan to picnic on our yard, or just want to see Todd’s current two money pits. Also let Todd know how many people will be attending. Todd will provide more details to those interested.
This is a non-PCA, non-Porsche Event however several PCA members have participated in this event. Proceeds go toward local charities.

5. Obey corner workers, safety staff and flags. If not, you will be black flagged and asked to stop. If this happens
more than once, you may be asked to leave.
6. Pay attention to your mirrors. If you see someone coming that is obviously faster, hold your line, slow up slightly
and let them by you.
7. Pass only on straight sections of the track…NOT on the corners.
8. No drivers or passengers under the age of 18. The only exception would be for a person that has appropriate

you will be asked to leave.
1. After each session, we recommend checking your brake pads (especially the front).
2. Never use the emergency brake for parking. Your brakes will be hot and you can easily warp the rotors.
3. For passenger cars, you may want to bring along an extra set of front brake pads and some brake fluid.
4. Before each session, check yourself. This activity can be very tiring and you don’t want to over extend yourself on the
track. Stay hydrated.
5. Remember to remove all loose items from your car. You don’t want anything flying around the car and ending up under
the brake pedal.
Affordable on-track protection for your car is available for this event with the
Lockton HPDE Insurance Program. See below for details.
