What: Waterfalls and Schnitzel Tour
When: October 5, 2024. Meet at 10am – Depart at 10:30am
Where: Shell Station I-41 and East Frontage Rd,  Little Suamico

We will meet at 10:00am, (10:30 departure), to kick-off the tour at the Shell Station at 213 E Frontage Rd, Lt Suamico WI 54141, (exit 179), where you can grab some gas and snacks for the tour. (They have a Subway there if you want to bring a sandwich along for the lunch stop) From the Shell Station we will travel on Hwy 141 North to a waterfall just north of Amberg WI.  Following that we will get off the highway and enjoy the back roads for “most” of the tour.  We will enjoy the fall colors (or sticks if the leaves are falling) and stop at 4 different waterfall parks and 1 river rapids park and ending at the Bavarian Inn in Lena WI at around 5:30pm for an enjoyable dinner, (we highly recommend either the Bavarian Schnitzel or the Black Forest Tenderloin).

There will be a $5 charge per car for the park passes which will be collected at the start and will get you into all the parks we will be visiting so save your mirror tag!  Dee and I already have passes and envelopes so please bring correct change as each pass needs to be separately sealed and deposited at the first park.  We will be spending approximately 30 minutes at each Park except for the 3rd stop where will spend a little more time to enjoy the sights and sounds and eat some snacks or any lunch you may have brought along.  All the parks have restrooms, (non-flushing), but they are all clean.  (The longest drive between stops is a little over 1 hour and all driving is on paved roads although you may encounter some small areas where gravel has been thrown onto the road).
