Road America Winter Autocross Series II @ Road America
Feb 1 all-day

While old man winter is bearing down on the Midwest, there is no reason for anyone to suffer from cabin fever. The Winter Autocross Series was created for enthusiasts to enjoy the performance characteristics of their car to the fullest. From the novice driver to the experienced autocrosser, the Winter Autocross Series has a little something for everyone. This off-street, closed-course environment is the perfect place to hone those winter driving skills with a variety of challenges that include; speed stop challenge, short autocross, and long autocross. We can’t always promise snow and ice, but we can promise the weather and course conditions to be both unpredictable and challenging for any driver and machine.

The series is made up of three event dates that are spread out over the Winter. Participants are split into three classes of competition; front-wheel drive (FWD), rear-wheel drive (RWD), and all-wheel drive (AWD). After each event points are awarded based on the finishing position within the class. Points are accumulated after each of the three event dates with an awards banquet taking place immediately following the last event of the series. Even if you are not eligible for an award we encourage all participants to attend the series banquet which is filled with food, fun, and camaraderie.

Road America reserves the right to cancel the event due to low enrollment. Cancellations will typically be made at least 1 week prior to the event. Click here for our full terms and conditions.

No refunds if you cancel or don’t show for the event. You understand and agree that there are no refunds once your registration is submitted unless the event is canceled by Road America.

Events are scheduled for 1/11, 2/1 and 3/7.

Tickets and Registration are being handled by MotorsportReg.com

2020 New Member Meet & Greet @ Greystone Ale House
Feb 4 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

New Members “Meet & Greet” at Graystone Ale House

Please join us on Tuesday, February 4th at Graystone Ale House in De Pere for a casual dinner and a good time. This is an annual special event. This gives an opportunity for new members and their significant others to get to know other new FVR PCA members, as well as old timers who have been around the club for a while. We were all new members at one point, and understand the importance of a warm welcome – especially during a Wisconsin winter!

The annual new members’ meeting is a chance for newer folks and their affiliate members or guests to rub elbows with more seasoned members in a totally relaxed setting, maybe over a cocktail or imported brew and some good chow.

We will be joined this year by John McHugh of Kwik Trip corporate staff (weather permitting) at Graystone Ale House. He’s coming all the way from La Crosse, WI just to talk to us. He will take the floor for a few minutes to help us understand care and feeding of the fuel system of our Porsche automobiles and other fuel thirsty toys. After all, Top Tier labelled gasoline is clearly recommended in the owners manual by Porsche, GM and other fine autos…and readily available at Kwik Trip throughout the region.

We will meet beginning at 5:00 for cash bar, after an hour and a half of rubbing elbows, we will order off the Graystone’s extensive menu for dinner. Separate bills will be provided by individual/couple. We have a side room booked.

Graystone Ale House www.graystonealehouse.com is just 2 miles south of 172, with easy access by taking the Monroe Road exit south.

Please RSVP by February 1st to Mary and Jim Haen at mehaen@sbcglobal.net so we have a general head count for adequate seating. Several of our group have Cayennes and Macans, so weather isn’t usually an issue. If weather gets in your way after you’ve RSVP’d, please err on the side of safety, it is Wisconsin winter! We hope to see you there!

4th Annual Werks Reunion Amelia Island @ Amelia River Golf Club
Mar 6 all-day

4th Annual Werks Reunion Amelia Island

Porsche Club of America (PCA) welcomes all Porsche clubs, owners, and enthusiasts to the 4th annual Werks Reunion Amelia Island on March 6, 2020, the Friday preceding the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Membership in PCA is not required to participate in this celebration of Porsche automobiles. Expect to view a breathtaking array of Porsches at this free-to-spectators event, from rare classics to current models and everything in between. Display your own cherished car in model-specific Porsche Corrals or enter the Porsche Judged Field and compete to win in more than 20 prize categories.

Werks Reunion was created by the Porsche Club of America as an event to celebrate both the Porsche marque as well as the camaraderie of being an enthusiast. This is not a contest of who has removed dust from the deepest crevices in their Porsche but rather a judged show that rewards a Porsche that has been lovingly maintained and presents itself well on the field. Our judges do not use Porsche Parade Concours score sheets but rather rank the cars according to certain attributes discussed prior to judging. For those who do not wish to have their cars judged, you may display in the model specific corrals or if the organizers see fit, on the judged field itself. There are no score sheets returned or protest committees. This is a casual gathering of Porsche enthusiasts focused on having fun rather than solely competition.

Hershey Swap Meet 2020 @ Giant Center
Apr 18 all-day

The Central PA Region of the Porsche Club of America is once again bringing its world-famous Porsche-Only Swap Meet to Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, April 18th, 2020.

This is without exaggeration the largest event of its kind on the planet. It typically brings nearly 650 vendors, around 1,000 Porsches, and over 6,000 visitors from all over the world together in Hershey every year. If you’re seeking an obscure Porsche or an obscure part for your Porsche, this is your best chance to find it. Every dealer and Porsche packrat in a 250-mile radius will be bringing their odds and ends for sale or swap. You’ll see exotic Porsches found nowhere this side of Stuttgart, and Porsche personalities ranging from PCA muckety-mucks to (sometimes) celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld. As always, we’ll feature a People’s Choice Concours, and Sunday autocross, too!
